SkanRaces.com is the operating name used for the race and charitable activities of SkanRaces.com, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, as per our Mission Statement:
SkanRaces.com, Inc. is committed to educating residents of the Central New York region about the health and recreational benefits of exercise, fitness, and an active lifestyle, promoting activities that provide opportunities for engaging in exercise and helping such people achieve fitness and lead active lifestyles, and to fostering wellness.

SkanRaces.com, Inc. Grant Application Guidelines:
SkanRaces.com, Inc. awards requests to fulfill the mission of promoting healthy lifestyles, fitness and recreational activity in the Central New York region. Award recipients must be public charity organizations as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Proposals submitted to SkanRaces.com, Inc. will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Requests that intend to enhance the health and wellness of our local communities
- Initiatives that can be shown to be beneficial over a long period of time
- Well defined requests that have a measurable, positive impact and result
- Requests that reach a broad range of people, including youth and adults
Grant Applications will be considered as they are received until assets are distributed.
